Our client, a globally leading communications and technology firm continues to deliver industry leading solutions for some of the world's largest companies. Arguably, their IP network is second to none and with a growing client base that includes over 175 Fortune 500 companies and many of the leading carriers, mobile network operators and ISP's they are well positioned to meet the needs of even the largest and most demanding customers. Due to their ongoing commitment to existing clients they now have an exciting opening for a Major Account Manager to be based in London.
As a Major Account Manager you will be based from our client's central London office, your home office or most likely a mixture of the two. You will assume responsibility for some of the largest accounts our client has won and will ultimately work to deliver and exceed upon achievable targets. You will be required to build strong and effective relationships at all levels both internally and externally, working in a team driven environment to create and action short, medium and long term account planning strategies to achieve revenue/product goals.
The ideal candidate will be posses a minimum of 5 years target driven solution sales experience within the global IT or Telco sectors. You will have documented and demonstrated success as a top sales performer and a solid under standing of Telco/IT technology platforms.
You will be highly motivated, driven by success and posses first class communication and presentation skills with the ability to liaise at board level and negotiate often complex and high valued contracts.
The successful candidate can expect a salary base of 40-60k dependent upon experience with an uncapped and very achievable OTE of 80-120k in the first year. Additionally there is a generous and executive benefits package.
