A fantastic low, mileage towing vehicle with so much power and torque, from the 6.5L V8 Turbo Diesel (same engine as in the Hummer H1), that could pull a house down. The growl from the engine is inspiring!
The automatic gearbox shifts smoothly and with the light power steering this vehicle is a pleasure to drive and a doddle to park.
Although the vehicle is left hand drive, you are so high above everyone else that visibility is not an issue.
It is cavernous inside and can easily accommodate 8 adults in luxury, with all their luggage.
It has separate controls for air conditioning front and rear.
The vehicle has leather seats all round and are in good condition, except for the passenger seat which is cracked but it is not too bad and does not detract from the comfortable ride.
The windows are electric all round and the central locking is operated from a button on the driver's arm rest.
The hatch is opened by means of a button of the dashboard that releases the rear window.
The stereo works well (very loud and crisp) and has a single CD player incorporated.
This is one tough, well built truck with loads a life left in her. These engines are good for 100s of thousands of miles, just think of the vast expanses in the US where the nearest fuel station can be 60 miles away.
This vehicle has a large diesel tank and holds in excess of 150 Litres.
Fuel consumption varies depending what you are doing but on the motorway you can do around 22/24mpg whereas around town it will do around 16/18mpg.
The bodywork is in great condition for it's age. It has a few dings here and there but nothing of any consequence. The underneath looks like a train.
