Group Financial Controller Temp to Perm GBP45k
An exciting Post Production House is currently looking for Group Finanacial Controller on a temporary to Permanent basis.
Key responsibilities are as follows
Control all billing requirements and review draft client invoices before release;
Ensure all required intercompany invoices are raised each month;
Review aged creditor analysis and investigate all debit balances and outstanding amounts for payment;
Prepare a revenue forecast for review by the FD;
Prepare an analysis of job profitability/utilisation for review by the FD;
Ensure all capital expenditure is correctly recorded within the fixed asset register;
Supervise the preparation of the required journals and obtain authorisation thereof from the FD;
Supervise the reconciliation for all material balance sheet accounts;
Agree all inter-company balances with other group companies;
Supervise the preparation of schedules supporting the monthly accruals and prepayments;
Prepare the quarterly P&L; re-forecast for review by the FD
Supervise the reconciliation of the VAT account and the quarterly VAT return ensuring a full audit trail for subsequent review by Customs and Excise
Prepare the year-end audit file for review by FD;
Respond to audit queries and provide supplementary schedules;
Submit all signed statutory returns by the required deadlines. Prepare revenue and capital expenditure budgets for the following year for review by the customer FD.
Prepare capital expenditure budgets for the following year for review by the FD.
Prepare the tax packs.
Manage the finance department on a daily basis
Essential requirements
Must be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualfied or finalist
Must have been in a similar position previously
Must be immediately available or on short notice and able to take permanent work
