Head Chef for a new Restaurant in Richmond.
We are looking for a skilled passionate person, with either head chef or Sous chef experience to work in a professional friendly environment.
We have a vision of true excellence and require a chef that has great flair and attention to detail.
This is a 50 cover restaurant and you will running a small team cooking with only fresh ingredients.
We are offering a menu of home comfort foods combined with unpretentious sophistication. More bistro during the day with finer dining in the evening. We are looking for a chef to cook a classic menu in a one of a kind restaurant.
Cafe Strudel focuses on traditional Wiener Küche (Viennese Cooking), which is a cross between French and German cooking and has influences from Hungary, Poland and Northern Italy.
Our food will be made from scratch, on site, using mainly local organic ingredients, cooked to recipes that have been handed down for many, many generations. These will be combined with a modern take, offering our chef an opportunity to show what they're made of. We will also create a range of Viennoiserie and cakes in the traditional Viennese style.
This will be the only proper Viennese cafe in London and as such has great marketing potential and will offer the right person a real opportunity to make their reputation.
We have plans for expansion and would ideally like to find a chef that will join us for the long run and help the business grow.
Though it would be great to find a chef with knowledge of Viennese cuisine, we are happy to take on board a chef without the knowledge, but with the will and ability to learn.
We are ready to open now and would like a chef that can start ASAP.
