Listed as one of the fastest-growing and most successful Technology companies in the UK, and having been recently acquired by one of there customers, our client is currently seeking a fantastic candidate to provide Support to board level Directors. For the right person, the opportunity to progress rapidly exists as does the opportunity to work with a diverse, driven, hard-working and fun team in a highly successful environment. At times this role will report to 3 of the Directors, who have built a company destined for international growth and who are now seeking an adaptable, energetic, intelligent, top quality candidate to support them on a day to day basis as well as at board level. A good sense of humour and a desire to work in a very fast-growing Technology company, energy, enthusiasm, a complete willingness to "muck in" wherever required are all essential qualities.
* This role would involve a certain amount of Personal Assistant as well as Office Management duties but the majority of the role would be undertaking senior level Operational duties from board level
* Proven experience and communication at board level is essential
* The successful candidate would need to take on projects which come out of the Board Meetings and put them into action plans and report back to the Directors regularly on progress
* This person would need to take the minutes at the Board meetings and then be responsible for implementing them into an action plan
* This is an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to have there finger on the pulse of a successful technology business
* Flexible, “can-do” attitude
* Ability to quickly build rapport both internally as well as with clients and customers
* Helping to organise the day to day activities of the Managing Director
* Attend reviews and meetings as appropriate to take notes
Likely attributes will include:
* Would need to be clear and concise
* This person would need to be someone who is not scared to contribute to Board meetings whilst doing so in a respectful manner
* Exceptionally organised, methodical and pro-active
* Be a quick thinker as there may be occasions where you will be required to respond to multiple ideas
* Able to prioritise and use initiative
* Reliable under pressure - enjoys a fast-paced environment
* Outstanding communication skills – both verbal and written
* Able to ‘muck in' and get involved in a variety of tasks
* Good experience with the Internet able to order and search on line effectively
* Intermediate MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
* Numerate, able to multi-task and work towards a common goal
