My client is retail group that owns a number of global fashion names with offices all over the world ..
We are seeking a candidate with the last two years dedicated to credit control duties. ( chasing corporate debt and building relationships with corporate clients ) .
To collect outstanding debt from our customers in the UK in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
* Manage UK customer accounts to ensure that the company's risk is kept to a minimum.
* Instigate and lead review and other meetings with Brand Presidents and other senior management as appropriate.
* Build effective relationships with our customers via face to face, telephone and e-mail.
* Have full responsibility for accounts and has complete knowledge of accounts at all times to enable accurate decisions to be made.
* Proactively manage account sales managers to influence them in concluding issues and queries.
* Continuously challenges the status quo, reviews current procedures and processes and manages implementation of any changes.
* Proactively, take responsibility for the escalation of developing issues and/or key risks.
* Ensure that any decisions taken are innovative and have a commercial bias.
* Resolve queries and drive improvements to eliminate problems at source.
Needless to say your English must be near perfect and you should be a confident , eloquent and persuasive person.
Ideally , you will live in North - ish London for ease of access to the role on a daily basis .
