Paralegal for London based broking house upto GBP45000 plus
Our client is a London based broking house who are actively looking to recruit for a Paralegal who together with the In-House Lawyer, the candidate will be drafting, amending and reviewing trading documentation for over-the-counter and exchange traded derivatives. As a candidate you will also be involved with the “on-boarding” of clients into the company and the transition of new sales and trading staff.
Core duties include:
Draft, review and amend trade confirmations for commodities and financial products over-the counter transactions.
Liaise with traders, back-office and counterparties to ensure transactions entered by the company are confirmed accurately and within stipulated time scale.
Negotiate and amend standard industry based documentation.
Assist In-House Lawyer with various legal queries.
Facilitate the “on boarding” of new clients to the business
Qualifications
Degree Level. Candidate who has completed Bar Vocational Exam or LPC would be desirable
The Person:
At least 12 months experience in drafting and reviewing documentation if qualified or 4 years relevant experience over qualifications.
Knowledge of ISDA and other market standard documentation essential.
Knowledge of commodities and financial products would be beneficial.
Commercially aware.
Flexible approach to work, ability to motivate and communicate with colleagues at all levels
Ability to manage workload and working relationships
Attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills.
