Experienced Hairdresser Required

Headlites is a busy friendly Hair and Beauty salon in the multi cultural shopping centre of Holloway Road, North London N7. Experienced stylist required who is ambitious and hard working and good with dealing with the public and works well in a busy salon. At least five years cutting experience is essential. Stylist would need to be well versed in cutting, blowdrying and highlighting techniques. Hair extension techniques will be taught in the salon. If applicant is capable of putting hair-up this would be a bonus but not essential. The salon is a busy Wella colour centre and has been awarded a diploma from that company, the salon carries out any type of fashion colour techniques to a high level. The position is being made available with the possibility of a future managerial position. Applicant should be willing to partake in every aspect of the daily running of a salon. This is a team salon where everyone helps with all the chores. The Salon is looking for an applicant who wishes to have long term employement with good prospects. The salary offered is a starting salary and will be increased in relation to performance. The starting salary is GBP12,500 per annum plus commission. If applicant has experience and can offer more to the salon immediately then increase in the starting salary can be negotiated. Full terms will be discussed on application. There is the possibility of working extra days or Sunday for extra salary. The salon system is flexible and staff friendly. Applicant must have a good understanding and good use of the English language. Good communication with clients is important.
