Required for September 2008 or sooner, a well qualified, ambitious and enthusiastic teacher to be responsible for coordinating and monitoring teaching and learning in English at KS3.
The school is a popular, successful, multicultural 11-16 girls' comprehensive school with specialist languages status. The school is situated in a lively inner city location.

English is a popular subject and pupils are enthusiastic about their work. At KS4, students follow the AQA syllabus leading to GCSE qualifications in both English language and literature. As well as coordinating KS3, the applicant would work with the KS4 coordinator to deputise for the Head of English when necessary.
