Calling Science Teachers
Science Teachers required
Two full-time teachers of Science are required to cover two vacancies caused by the promotion of the current post holders.
The successful candidates will be required to teach both KS3 classes and KS4 GCSE classes including, for short period, Year 11 GCSE students in the final weeks of their GCSE course.
The successful candidates will also be expected to mark books, assess the students, set targets and set homework. They will also be required to attend parent meetings as necessary. Non-contact time will be guaranteed to enable the teachers to undertake planning and preparation. The teachers will have their own science lab with Interactive Whiteboard.
The people appointed will be replacing two experienced teachers, one of whom is moving on to a deputy headship, and therefore we are looking for professionals who can make an impact within a short period of time and who can continue the good work with these students in this all-boys 11-16 comprehensive school.
