WANTED - Personal Care Assistants to work on a one to one basis with young adults living in their own homes with a spinal cord injury.
Origin have a number of vacancies throughout the UK for Personal Care Assistants looking for long term work. As permanent Personal Care Assistants you will be expected to commit for a period of more than 5 months. For this you will receive a secure long term income plus a ‘long stay' loyalty bonus as well as all the normal benefits offered to our other Personal Care Assistants.
The role of a Personal Care Assistant is both interesting and rewarding and with a work pattern of 2 weeks on and 1 week off you have the opportunity to visit friends and see the sights as well.
This job would appeal to anyone on a gap year, on a working holiday or someone based in the UK looking for a change of direction or a job that's more than the normal 9-5 routine.
We have a variety of long term placements, like the one below.
A full time job in publishing means this client leads a very busy life, both in and out of work time. He is looking for a carer that he can get to know and who can help him manage his demanding daily routine. Our client needs a responsible driver to get him to and from work and various out of hours meetings associated with his work, prepare his meals, and keep his home clean and tidy. Weekly shopping, daily chores and routine personal care are all required but there is also plenty of time for more leisurely pursuits in the beautiful semi-rural setting in which our client lives.
You need to be organised, adaptable and motivated with a can do attitude and most of all a good sense of humour. Good spoken English is essential.

· Hold a full driving licence
· Hold a valid UK work permit
· Be aged between 21-45 *
· Be able to commit to a minimum 4 months contract
