Part-time Librarian required
Colman Coyle are an Islington based Firm of Solicitors. We currently have a vacancy for a part-time Librarian - the successful candidate will work one day per week.
The successful candidate will be required to –
Catalogue/process stock
Update loose-leaf publications
Shelve books, periodicals and other materials
Occasional enquiry work for example obtaining articles/cases from appropriate sources
Keep records up-to-date to include recording orders and circulating periodicals
Collating and circulating cuttings as part of current awareness service
Assisting with new staff inductions
Assisting with the administration of online services, including researching and helping to trial new ones
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge and experience of a legal library environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. The successful candidate should have an eye for detail and excellent organisation and IT skills
