Your Profile:
As a freelance Science Staff Writer/journalist, you will have over 1 years' experience writing both news and features within the Science and technology industry for a trade publication, and will have completed a Journalism degree or similar training. This Staff Writer will have a science background and be able to demonstrate an interest in environmental issue.A high standard of written English is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
The Role
As a freelance science writer, the job will involve writing news and features for a science and technology magazine, and the daily newsletters.This Staff Writer will have a knowledge of the market and required to cover developments in environmental science. They also play an important role in the entire press process of these products, and will assist the editor in sub-editing, proofreading and picture research.
