Part time delivery driver SW8 London
Fruitful Office is a rapidly growing workplace fruit delivery company looking to employ a PART-TIME delivery driver.
Initially, this will involve about 8-10 hours each week of driving, however these hours will increase in the coming months as the business grows (Fruitful Office is growing fast). Work hours will be from 7.30AM to 10.00AM - Monday to Thursday.
You must be punctual and commitment are very important. This position includes lifting boxes weighing 10- 15 kgs and you must be able to manage the physical nature of this work. You must also live locally or within a commutable distance (1 bus away) to suit you arriving for these early starting hours - must live in SW8, SW9, SW11, SE11. This job could suit students living locally and wanting to earn some extra money or people with a local job to go to afterwards.
For the driving part of this role, an excellent knowledge of central London and previous delivery experience is critical for this role. The driver must be a punctual, reliable and a well-presented individual who is physically fit to keep up with the demands of the role. Duties include loading and unloading products and multi drop deliveries around the central London area. You must be able to work independently, learn your routes quickly and organise your deliveries efficiently. In addition, you will always be polite and friendly to all our customers. You must have a full UK/EU driving license and be able to drive a medium wheel base van. You must be at least 25 years old (for insurance purposes).
Salary
The role offers a salary of GBP7.50/hour for the driving part. You will also be entitled to take home free fresh fruit! This job is for an immediate start.
