Cad Technician Contract or Permanent
This is an opportunity to be a key member of a busy team working on a variety of structural engineering projects including residential, commercial and retail structures incorporating all of the main materials.
The role will involve the design and detailing of building structures on a variety of projects. Working for an Associate Director or Senior Engineer, the successful candidate will be 'part of a team responsible for providing the client with engineering advice and support'
The candidate should be fully conversant with Autocad 2007 and able to produce construction drawings relating to masonry, steelwork, timber and reinforced concrete. Have the ability to design simple elements and be qualified to HNC Level in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent.
The ability to produce reinforced concrete details and schedules, undertake inspections and prepare brief reports and attend site meetings is desirable however not essential.
You should be capable of working as part of a team. You would have good communication skills (to deal with clients and fellow team members) and have the experience to work with minimal supervision.
