Automated tester trades testing


Job Role: Automated Tester / Test Automation Engineer
London: London, SE1
Salary: 27k to 35k + bonus (c20%) + pension + gym + benefits
Ref: GT/1523/2003
Automated Tester / Test Automation Engineer sought to test complex highly transactional real time internet trading systems using Object Based methodologies (Borland Silk Test, C#, VB script) for this prestigious financial software provider. Using risk based analysis you will identify venerable areas of the software and raise, prioritise and track defect reports through to conclusion, working closely with functional testers to ensure only the very best software reaches production.
Requirements:
* Strong automated testing experience
* Experience of using Object Based methodologies in a development or testing capacity (GUI regression tools, test management tools, scripting for test automation and XML)
* Experience and understanding of SQL (ideally SQL Server) and networking (TCP/IP)
* Excellent analysis and problem solving abilities
* Degree educated (2:1 or above)
* Desirable: Borland Silk Test, QTP
* No finance experience necessary
