Senior solution delivery manager
Our client, a giant of the FMCG industry, is currently undergoing an exciting period of transformation and change within its technology department as it continues to centralize its global systems footprint. As such they are looking to appoint Senior Solution Delivery Managers into the Global IT Delivery division of their IT function. This is seen as an opportunity to recruit high caliber talent to the organization to form part of their future leadership team.
As a Senior Solution Delivery Manager you are responsible for;
* the delivery of a portfolio of projects on a global/regional level
* the successful delivery of these projects to time, budget and fit for purpose
* translating business needs into deliverable IT solutions
* partnering closely with the business to ensure solutions are aligned to business objectives and to ensure successful delivery
* driving and developing your team to ensure delivery coupled with individual growth
* managing relationships with suppliers to ensure they deliver the best
Necessary Experience;
* A strong track record of delivering IT solutions to deliver real business benefit to time and budget
* Experience of delivering mission critical IT solutions across disparate geographies in a global/international organization of relevant scale and complexity
* Practical experience of project management methodologies, ie Prince II
* Driving external suppliers to deliver the best
* Managing budgets of at least GBP1million and teams of 20
The role is based in London with frequent travel to South Africa and the broader African region.
