Faithaction national coordinator
FaithAction, a charity operating under the umbrella of LifeLine Community Projects, is a national network funded by Central Government to raise the voice of faith based and community organisations who deliver public services. We bring together grassroots organisations who deliver, or seek to deliver public services and help them access funds, deliver contracts and create more effective partnerships with government.
We are looking for a coordinator to work closely with our founding partners, LifeLine, Faithworks and Faith Regen UK, with responsibility to provide key support for the projects FaithAction has been charged with. You will need to have proven administrative and communication skills which enable you to multitask, think on your feet and build rapport with those around you. Duties include deputising for the National Executive Director at national & regional events, coordinating communications, events and the development of the Network as well as general administration. You must be a hardworking, conscientious team player with a 'can do' attitude. A superb opportunity for an amiable candidate of graduate calibre with great administration & organisational skills, you should be confident to deal with people of every faith, religion, and culture and to negotiate with tact and skill to achieve the cooperation and confidence of our stakeholders.
The role is based in Dagenham, Essex with a salary of GBP18,000-GBP22,000 pa.
