Arts administrator
Groovy Art Workshops is an arts/events company designing and delivering creative activities and events to children 5 – 11 years old. We do everything from masking making to furniture design – flower arranging to digital art... Nothing too neat, mess guaranteed!
We aim to provide art experiences that are designed to provide the opportunity for children to extend and expand their imagination; encouraging them to be creative and form a fulfilling perspective towards learning.
Groovy Art Workshops (GAW) are looking for a committed individual who is interested in supporting the creation and delivery of this company's services. We need an Arts Administrator who is meticulous, efficient, well organised, computer literate (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), numerate, personable and an excellent communicator who can deliver to deadlines. An individual, who works well with people, is enthusiastic about the type of work we do and to enjoy using their own initiative.
As access and diversity are integral to everything GAW creates and produces, we need an Arts Administrator who genuinely believes in equal opportunities and can demonstrate this in their work. Our Arts Administrator enjoys supporting the work of other colleagues, is not afraid of a varied working environment, multi-tasking and is happy to be office based whilst other colleagues are out and about.
Some professional experience in arts and events is desirable. Similarly it would be great to find out about people who have worked developing marketing/funding proposals. This position is an opportunity for the right individual to 'make this role their own', one who is keen to develop their skills and knowledge-base within an arts/events focused company.
