Ecommerce mail manager
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's biggest Retail brands in their E-Commerce Department. You will be responsibile for creating (HTML) and sending all customer email marketing campaigns for multiple brands within the Company and externally.
You will be responsible for the fulfillment of all email marketing campaigns. This is not primarily a design role, PSD files from each brand will be supplied and you will convert them into HTML emails ready to send to the customer databases. You will also be responsible for all data segmentation and post-send analysis of each campaign. This is a hands-on role, supporting each brand in all of their email marketing requirements. You will also be advising brands on email marketing best practice and content and working with them to constantly improve results.
Technical/Experience and Requirements:
* Strong HTML coding skills
* A sound understanding of email delivery coding
* Experience of building email-shots and delivering b2c email campaigns
* Experience of using 3rd party email delivery systems
* An understanding of data segmentation and its uses
* Experience of growing email database volumes
* A high degree of computer literacy
* Strong Microsoft Excel and Access experience
* Full understanding of all aspects of e-marketing
* Experience in web development softwares such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver
* You must have a service orientated attitude
* Good verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
* A team player with good organisational skills.
* High levels of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
* Good grammatical and spelling skills.
Good relationship building skills with key personnel in all areas of the business and external suppliers.
* Self-motivation in terms of being able to adhere to set deadlines.
