Credit controller near west malling kent
A leading client of JP Gray based near West Malling, Kent have an urgent requirement for a Credit Controller on a temporary basis for 3 months. Reporting to the Credit Control Manager you will be responsible for the collection of outstanding debts via Telephone, E-mail & Letter. You will look after a ledger of approx. 2500 live accounts, collecting on invoices ranging from GBP50 to GBP50,000. You will be required to build good rapport with clients and arrange suitable payment plans & direct debit set-ups.
Part of the role will require you to post all incoming monies via Cheque, BACS & Credit Card; you will also be responsible for daily banking.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within a Credit Control Department previously. Previous experience of using Sage 500 & MS Excel accounts would be an advantage.
Someone who is proactive and can prioritise their daily work and be a good team player.
Salary: GBP10 – 13 per hour
