Hi There!
We have 2 very decent sized double rooms available in late May. The smaller will be available on the 20th of May (422 pcm) , the larger (500pcm) will be avail at the end of May. Both include a new and comfy double bed, lots of storage- wardrobe and chest of drawers both have lovely cosy (decorative rather than functional) fireplaces.
The house is situated in Acton Vale, 10 min walk to East Acton (Central) Station and short bus rides to Shepherds Bush (Hammersmith and City) Acton (Central) and Hammersmith (Piccadilly, Hammersmith and City and District). It is in a safe and quiet street, and close to leafy Acton Park for strolling around in summer.
The house itself is large and cosy, a great kitchen for cooking up a storm and best of all a massive backyard (!) with a bbq. Upstairs, there is a very roomy bathroom with a bath, and there is also a second loo and sink downstairs.
The rent for both rooms includes council tax and gas, water and power. We have sky (great for trashy telly) which includes internet and phone and a kitty which will be a little extra - around 20 pcm- probably less.
At the moment there are 3 girls and 1 guy and a cat, Derek, sharing a 4 bedroom place. You would be sharing with Sarah, 25 an Aussie teacher, and Mel, 25 a Kiwi Nurse, and Derek, the cat. The house has a great social, friendly vibe. Pretty cosy and laid back during the week- lots of chilling out in front of the tv, cooking dinner, chatting after work, going for walks etc. Weekends there are generally a few people about- friends are very welcome, we both head out, go out drinking, socialise at home
We are looking for someone (male or female) to share our home. Ideally, you need to be respectful of people's space, social, have regular employment and be fairly liberal in your views. We are good fun, easy going, love living in London and travelling Europe.
