We have a double room with single bed for rent in a large house available immediately. Room has large sliding glass doors onto the kitchen area, which is bright and sunny, however room has no windows. We have recently repainted the room white so it is very clean and ready to move into. With one large wardrobe with draw space, a chest of drawers and a desk there is plenty of storage space. If you would prefer a double bed or another single in order to share the room, that is no problem as long as you pay the cost. Be advised this room needs a tolerant person as it is off the kitchen but it is a bright spacey chilled out room and the fact that its situation isn't ideal is reflected in the price as this is a nice house in a great location.
The house has a communal kitchen and a large roof terrace which we use for barbecues, ideal for sitting out in summer. Bathroom with shower, toilet, bath and a second toilet next door. There are four large rooms in the house and at the moment we are five. House is mixed but as we like to keep a balance we would ask that only girls apply (two sharing is ok) and we also have two crazy cats. The house is about ten minutes walk from Camden town and is ideally situated for central London and there are 24 hour buses, closest tube is Camden town. The property is on Brecknock Road which has all amenities on doorstep (organic food shops, post office, 24 hour off license, restaurants). Twenty minutes walk from Hampstead Heath, ideal for weekend chilling.
The house has a lived in feeling as we are young creatives and often keep late hours. We are all friendly people and would like to share the house with open minded individuals. We are collectively music and film makers, a chef and a singer song writer. So if you feel comfortable with the idea please get in touch.
nb. we will ask for 5 weeks of rent deposit, minimum of 6 months stay and the rent is exclusive of bills. we usually pay around GBP50-80 p/m each and we have internet.
