Not many English teachers have a degree in English Linguistics. Linguistics is the study and analysis of language. Linguists look at word order, meaning, how words are formed, sounds and how they are formed, writing systems, discourse, grammar, second language learning and much more. In other words, everything you need for learning English or improving your English accent.
Linguists are experts in English accents. Phonetics and Phonology are the branches of Linguistics concerned with pronunciation and accents. Linguists sometimes coach actors who need help with dialects.
I also have a degree in IT and many years of technology and business experience.
I am a native Englishman. English is my first language.
I have learned two other languages as an adult. So I have first hand experience of what it takes to learn a language.
