The school has been described as a "good" school by Ofsted and pupils achieve well above the national average.
The school is set in nice suburban area of West London with green spaces, good local amenities, and very good transport links into and out of London.
The position is to cover a maternity starting in May and to go through to at least Christmas 2008. The department is strong and supportive.
The successful candidate will:
*Have a relevant degree
*Be a qualified teacher
*Be able to teach Islam up to GCSE level
*Be enthusiastic about their subject
*Want to raise standards in the department
*Have an enhanced CRB check or be willing to apply for one
