Permanent part time drama teacher required for september 200
Are you an experienced Drama/Music teacher looking for a permanent part time contract to start Monday 1st September 2008? Can you attend an interview/trial day in the next couple of weeks?......We have just the job!
A large mixed Catholic 11-18 comprehensive school with 1688 pupils on roll are looking for a committed, flexible teacher to join their successful Performing Arts Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of classes from Year 9 – 13 (AQA AS and A Level/EDEXCEL GCSE. Owing to the expansion within Music there is the possibility that some KS3 Music teaching will also be involved. A detailed SOW and lesson plans will be made available but the ability to sing and/or play an instrument to a competent standard will be an advantage. GCSE/A level Music teaching may be given to someone with suitable experience and qualifications.
There are 832 boys and 856 girls. The sixth form is very large, with 506 students. The school successfully passed its ofsted inspection in March 2006 with an outstanding rating and Beacon Status which was originally awarded back in 1999.
