Junior Account Manager for our office in Oxford
As the Junior Account Manager you will organise and host fam trips for tour operators, travel agents and journalists, organise joint marketing activities with tour operators, attend and organise roadshows & functions, manage supply of collateral, organise in house training visits to the trade. You will also have the opportunity to drive the media relations activities for the consultancy's clients - maximising opportunities for UK travel and lifestyle media, and generating powerful ongoing relationships with the target press at national and trade level.
The role will suit an ambitious and intelligent Junior Account Manager looking to make their mark in the luxury travel industry. You will need 2-3 years experience in tour operations or PR - ideally in the luxury tourism industry. We are looking for a confident, engaging communicator with first class planning & organisation skills. Creativity and excellent written skills are a key part of this role and you'll need to have a good eye for what makes a strong consumer story. Attention to detail and high levels of service are a must. The ideal candidate must be a quick learner, who thinks on their feet and is happy to take on responsibility.
