In order to support our growing client base, we are currently looking for self motivated, ambitious support technicians who are willing to contribute to developing a world class support area. The right candidate will be expected to learn about our business and the financial markets very quickly and to understand our system implicitly. We have a vast amount of in-house knowledge on the systems and the financial markets so you will be given a superior level of training.
Due to our expansion into the Australian market, we are planning an office in Sydney within the next year. For those who are interested, there is scope to move and help grow our Asia/Pacific presence. Other candidates may be more interested in staying in the UK.
Our ideal candidate must have experience in the following technical areas.
- Installing and configuring computer programs
- Good communication skills when dealing with clients on technical issues and an ability to manage your own time.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing system hardware/software and network problems
- Communicating with hardware suppliers on any issues
- Producing ongoing support documentation
- Responding to issues in an agreed time frame
- Assisting with on-site meetings with our customers
- Bug testing and resolution
We will require that candidates are qualified in the following technical areas:
Linux
SQL Databases
1+ years commercial experience
Beneficial:
