The Knightsbridge Hotel is situated in Beaufort Gardens, a quiet tree lined street in the heart of Knightsbridge. Harrods, Harvey Nichols and the international designer stores of Sloane Street and Brompton Cross are all just minutes walk; as well as Hyde Park, the Victoria & Albert, Natural History and ScienceMuseum's. There are 44 light and bright, individually designed bedrooms and suites as well as two sumptuous drawing rooms for guests to relax and entertain. The hotel provides all the facilities expected by today's sophisticated traveller including 24 hour room service, valet and concierge. Each room is equipped with the business person in mind including two line telephones, voice mail, cellular telephone, modem and fax points, high speed internet access, desk and personal safe. Bathrooms are beautifully designed in solid granite and oak.
About the Job
We are looking for an Linen Porter to join our housekeeping department.
The successful candidate must have:
Previous experience as a Linen Porter within a hotel
The ability to work under pressure
A good command of English
Excellent attention to detail
A willingness to learn
Salary: GBP12,000 - GBP13,000 per annum.
Hours: 40 per week (8am - 4pm, 5 days out of a 7 day week - will include weekends)
