My client specialises in very high-end residential refurbishment projects. Their attention to detail and reputation is second to none, and they have a vast pool of clients queuing up to employ their services. This is where you come in: With 6 projects running simultaneously, the need for competent Site Management staff is essential. They are growing massively and so is their budget, thus consolidating their healthy financial position. You will receive the support and encouragement you need, as well as the opportunity to grow within this vibrant company. They offer training to all new employees, in order to ensure that they are equipped to deal with even the most difficult circumstances.
They are looking for a Site Manager with a proven track record in high-end residential refurbishments. This could have been in the UK or abroad; the main thing is that you have managed site staff and overseen prestigious projects. The main factor to getting the job, however, is your attitude. They are looking for hungry, eager, enthusiastic candidates with good communication skills. You need to have the ability, both technically and mentally, to be hands-on when need be and assist your workers if deadlines are tight. This will involve the occasional carpentry work.
My client has assured me that this is a management position, not your run of the mill foreman role. You will regularly dealing with high net worth clients, whose demands can appear overwhelming at times. You need to be of the ethos: "the client is king" and adhere to their demands. Remember, all work carried out by my client is of the highest standard and finish!
